Phi Delta Theta
Day of Giving
June 17, 2026
Why Your Gift Matters—
Especially Now...
Every Phi Delt can point to a moment where the Fraternity made a difference.
Maybe it was the first time you walked into the chapter house and realized you had found your place. Maybe it was a brother who pushed you to lead when you didn’t think you were ready. Or maybe it was an opportunity you wouldn’t have had otherwise—a leadership program, a scholarship, or a connection that opened a door.
That experience didn’t happen by accident. It happened because someone before you decided to give back.
Today, that same opportunity is in your hands.
The impact is real and growing, but we need your support to sustain it.
Last year, the Phi Delta Theta Foundation and its donors delivered more than $2 million in scholarships, leadership programs, and chapter support. That kind of impact changes lives, but it isn’t guaranteed. Last year’s results were made possible by the success of initiatives like the Day of Giving Chapter Challenge.
Our goal is to sustain and grow this level of support year over year through Campaign 2030—but we’re not there yet.
Each year, Phi Delts invest in the next generation of leaders by funding scholarships, leadership education, and chapter-based resources. Thousands of undergraduate brothers benefit from these programs. Scholarships alone support hundreds of students across more than 120 chapters, helping them stay in school and pursue leadership opportunities. Chapters also receive direct funding to strengthen academic programs, leadership development, and the overall member experience.
When you give, you’re not just making a donation—you’re helping ensure the Phi Delt experience remains strong, relevant, and available to every brother who comes after you. This is how we sustain the impact—and how we grow it.
The Chapter Challenge:
Rallying Your Chapter Brothers to
Fuel Impact for All Phis
The Chapter Challenge is where friendly competition meets real impact. For a few days each year, chapters across Phi Delt Nation come together to rally their brothers—encouraging participation, building momentum, and showing what their chapter can achieve when everyone steps up.
Chapters compete not only to raise dollars, but to engage as many brothers as possible. Because at the end of the day, this isn’t just about totals—it’s about participation, pride, and showing up for one another.
Winning chapters earn additional funding they can invest directly back into their members—supporting academic success, leadership development, and the overall chapter experience. But the real value goes beyond the leaderboard.
The Chapter Challenge reminds us that Phi Delta Theta is strongest when brothers act together—across generations, across campuses, and across the country. Every gift moves your chapter forward. Every donor strengthens the brotherhood.
This is your chance to represent your chapter—and make an impact that lasts well beyond these few days.
How it works:
Compete by Division: Chapters are grouped based on alumni size, so you’re competing against peers.
- Alpha Division: 1175+ Living Alumni
- Beta Division: 740-1174 Living Alumni
- Gamma Division: 250-739 Living Alumni
- Delta Division: 249 or fewer Living Alumni
Three Ways to Win:
- Most Dollars Raised
- Highest Donor Participation (number of unique donors/ number of living members = participation rate)
- Compete in blitz challenges throughout the day
Participation Matters: Every donor counts—strong participation can be just as powerful as large gifts.
Funding for Winners: Winning chapters receive additional funding to invest back into their members—supporting scholarships, leadership programs, and educational experiences.
One Award per Chapter: Chapters can win in either dollars raised, participation or a blitz challenge, ensuring more chapters benefit.
DONATIONS MATCHED
Thanks to these generous donors, donations throughout the day will be doubled or tripled.

COMPETITION SPONSORSHIP
The 2026 Day of Giving competition is proudly sponsored by the Phi Delta Theta Foundation Board of Trustees. The Foundation will fund a chapter leadership fund for the eight chapters that win in their divisions in the amount of $2,000 each.
Brothers who joined the Chapter Grand this year have funded the other eight chapter leadership funds that will be awarded throughout the competition. These brothers have made these funds available through legacy plans with Phi Delta Theta. You can join the Living Bond Society by creating your own legacy plan with the Phi Delta Theta Foundation. This support ensures students have access to critical leadership programming in perpetuity.
The Chapter Leadership Funds can help chapters with educational expenses such as conference travel, academic awards, chapter house improvements*, chapter speakers, and other educational expenses.
*Chapter House improvements must be deemed educational in order to qualify.
Chapters win access to these funds by raising the most in their division or having the highest alumni participation percentage in their division, or winning some of the blitz competitions happening throughout the giving days.
